Uncertainty is the 'New Normal'

“Uncertainty is the new normal” in global economy, IMF chief warns. 

IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva said the global economy has proven more resilient than expected, but warned that uncertainty will remain a defining feature of the outlook. While firms and some governments have adapted well, she cautioned that this resilience has not yet been fully tested and could be strained by shocks from trade tensions, inflation, or financial markets.
