Laura Anselmi obtained her Ph.D. in Health Economics from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, University of London in 2015. She is working as a Research Fellow at the Centre for Health Economics at the University of Manchester. Her research is currently focused on the analysis of health systems organization and health care provision in UK as well as in low- income countries. She is currently involved in projects related to resource allocation and health system mechanisms and effects of Performance Based Financing in Zimbabwe and Mozambique, waiting times and health care outcomes in Emergency Departments in England and effects of training on Acute Kidney Injury management in primary care in Manchester. She is seconded to NHS England Insights for Finance Directorate to work on the refreshment of the formula to allocate resources for mental health care.
